June Natter Night

Our June regular meeting saw us gathering at a new venue, the Greyhound Inn at Winterbourne Kingston. The owners of the pub were happy to receive us and set out dedicated parking for bikes and space for us to enjoy the phenominal weather. With the weather came a good showing of bikes and members, with well over 20 members, guests and family in attendance

Several of the members located on the eastern side of the county all took the opportunity to ride in together, taking in some of the lovely scenery our county has to offer. Apart from one wrong turning, all went well and we arrived to see many of our members already present and waiting for us. It was also nice to see many of the guests staying in the pubs rooms coming out to look at the bikes and engage with us.

There was lots of chat and laughter as we all updated ourselves on our exploits over the last month and also notes covering the upcoming national rally, future ride outs to meet other chapters and our own AGM and VP BBQ all being on the horizon. All of which will soon be followed by our annual memorial ride. This year just seems to be flying by.

There was, of course, quite a bit of chat about motorcycles too and the clear sky and thankfully cooling evening weather allowed all those that rode in to have a great ride home after then evening had ended. Even if the bugs were out in force to dirty our nice clean bikes.

We also managed to raise a good sum via our monthly raffle which is going into our core charity pot for donations later in the year.
