Classics at the Knole

Sunday the 9th June saw the Quarrymen cross the masonic border to attend Classics at the Knole. A great event that we are now in our third year in attendance. The event brings together Masons that love cars and motorbikes but also reaches out to the local community to show what we offer to the greater world. it is also a great opportunity to raise more funds for charitable dontations for quite a few groups.

The event is organised by Nas (pictured) who is already a very busy man. He is supported by a great crew who help make this event better with each passing year.

With several stands, games, live entertainment and tours aroud the grade 2 listed building, there is a lot on offer for an event that is free to attend.

Dorset, Hants. & Wilts. Widows son gathered together.

The event also sees support from the other Widows Sons Chapters with the Stonecutters (Wilts.) and Southern (Hants.) coming along to support the show and meet with the Quarrymen for some great laughs and conversation.

    The Black Sheep MCC

As well as being supported by our fellow Widows Sons chapters we also had members of the Black Sheep MCC (pictured) and the Dorset Nomads MCC pop along to say hello and enjoy this great event.

The Winner of the car competition, a lovely Corvette

Along with all the entertainment and games, there was a competition for best in show for both car and motorcycle. Above is the awesome car that took top spot.

Burgers and Sausages cooked all day
    Cakes and cream teas
    Awesome vintage motorcycles
just a very small snap of what was there

This is a great event and we are looking forward to being there again enxt year. Each year it grows a little more and is shaping up to be one of the best events in the area for fans of cars and bikes.
