Tonight saw the first natter night of the year. The evening was very well attended with prospective members coming along to meet us for the first time.
We all got to listen to a great talk by our road captain about how to ride safely in groups and also tips on how to better read corners for safer riding in general. Quite a lot of work went into that and it was very well received.
We had a great raffle and raised a decent sum towards charitable causes and even had some very rare baseball caps as prizes, straight from fellow Widows Sons in Dorchester – IN AMERICA!!!!
Nights like tonight make it easy to see why this is a great group and I for one cannot wait for what we have lined up for the coming year.
