It is tradition in the Quarrymen, for the current VP to host our summer BBQ. This year saw ur incoming President, Paul, and his Wife Sue, host the Quarrymen.
A few came in cars with partners and others came on our trusty bikes, with the sun blazing down and a great ride to a great event on the cards.
The perfect conditions for all to have a great time.

Paul & Sue had laid out plenty of seating and shaded cover to protect us from the hot evening sunshine.
With background music playing lots of people enjoyed catching up with each other and having a good chat.
There was also plenty of zero alcohol drinks on hand which seemed the be the preference for this tough group of bikers.
With a few bikes on hand, and a couple of new ones to the group, it was certain that some were going to vanish for a while to admire each others new rides.
There was also plenty of questions about little tweaks people have been making to their rides and lots of talk about planned additions and changes to members individual stables.

Being a BBQ the food was always going to be the star of the day.
What nobody predicted was how many sweet treats would be brought along for afters.
Most of us had at least two servings of pudding and, those riding home, were carrying a. bit more weight for the journey home.
