Classics at the Knole 2023

Not content with attending one event in a weekend, the Widows Sons Quarrymen, along with members of Southern and the Stonecutters, attended the Classics at the Knole show this weekend. This is the second time the Quarrymen have attended the event at the Bournemouth Masonic Centre and the weather this year was awesome, along with the turnout.

Open to the public with guided tours around the building, including the two temples, this event is getting a bigger crowd each year and replicated the great atmosphere we experienced the day before at the Zetland Court Summer Fete.

There were bikes and cars that you see around the local events in attendance, along with new machines that have not been showcased before.

The variety of vehicles covered decades, from modern supercars to old classics.

It would also not be a proper car show without theBritish icons present for all to enjoy.

And there was also the giant American classics on display too, at little harder to park in our tiny British parking spaces.

There were also plenty of bikes too, with a scooter club also attending. You could spend hours here with a camera.

It was not just cars and bikes though. There was live entertainment and games to be seen along with the beer tent and food stall.

This event is fantastic and all should go. This weekend has been very busy for the Quarrymen but the support and turnout from its members, along with its associated groups of Southern and the Stonecutters, really does show what freemasonry is all about. The camaraderie, support and families present, all enjoying a great day together whilst raising even more money for good causes.
