Widows Sons Scotland host \u2018The Branding\u2019 every year welcoming patched members from all Chapters in the U.K. and Europe alike.\u00a0
This year saw the President, VP, Secretary and Road Captain make the 430 mile journey to Duncarron Medieval Village for the Ceremony. \u00a0Mystique and secrecy surround the Ceremony and there was no advanced information as to what to expect. As soon as we crossed the border to Scotland the rain started almost immediately and the temperature plummeted.\u00a0The brandee hardcore camped onsite and braved the elements. Staying onsite and socialising with fellow brethren was a large and necessary part of the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>

Not much can be said of the ceremony for obvious reasons but without doubt it was the most intense and spectacular ceremony that in nearly 30 yrs of masonry that I had ever witnessed, and I believe that it cannot be equalled.\u00a0 We returned somewhat stunned by what we had all experienced and discussions were animated for most of the 430 mile return journey. It is a rite of passage to be a Branded Widows Son it was an honor to be a part of and only those who have experienced it fully will appreciate what wearing the L patch has entailed.\u00a0<\/p>

If you are offered the opportunity to go, take it, face it head on and you won\u2019t regret it.\u00a0<\/p>
