On this evening we had a couple of comics, a singer and a magician come along to show us their talents and entertain us.<\/p><p>The temple was jam packed and late arrivals continued for a few minutes into the meeting. With around 100 people present, the atmosphere was electric. During the usual lodge business taking place a space was made fora presentation to the lodge, telling all present about the history of the Chelsea Lodge, details of its many famous members and much more, all with a decent amount of humour thrown in for good measure.<\/p><p>After the meeting upstairs we all headed for a packed out dining room where we received a great meal and plenty of banter. After the toasts were given we were all treated to about an hours worth of entertainment from jokes, singing and the roasting of any hecklers.<\/p><p>A good amount of money was raised along with an auctioned for some signed Rick Wakeman memorabilia.<\/p><p>Even though the evenings main event had ended, many stayed a lot longer, chatting and laughing in the bar, close until midnight. many more friendships were made and this proved to be an event worth getting to next time the roadshow comes to town.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday the 13th of April saw several of the Quarrymen attend Cerdic lodge, in the Province of Hampshire &amp; The Isle of Wight, to witness a presentation from The Chelsea Lodge Roadshow.
